Evaluation of convergence for solitaire games: how it can be performed?

Spider solitaire is one of the many games that offer to decompose a deck (in this case several decks are used) in the correct sequence. Very often people think about the convergence of this solitaire. Convergence implies that in the case of an initial position of the cards there is always a competent strategy that will lead to a positive result, that is, solitaire is sure to come together.

Many believe that the dissimilarity of solitaire means that the layout was folded in the wrong sequence. However, this opinion is not entirely true. Such a factor as convergence depends on the conditions proposed by the game. If the layout of the cards in the decks, such as in spider solitaire, is carried out according to a strictly specified algorithm, solitaire may not be convergent.
